Moscow voices readiness to talk to Washington on Ukraine

Russia Sunday said it is willing to sit with US officials and discuss means of cooperation on Ukraine provided they revolve around the “Minsk” protocol.

Andrey Rudenko, the deputy foreign minister, told journalists Moscow is ready to cooperate with the US on the basis that there is no alternative to the Minsk agreements, urging journalists to direct this question to Washington D.C.

“Russia is well aware that the US’ involvement will have a positive impact on coming up with solutions,” Rudenko added.
