Moderate Summer Weather to Continue Through Weekend

Amman: Jordan is experiencing a spell of typical summer weather, with most areas enjoying pleasant and moderate temperatures. However, hot conditions will prevail in the desert regions, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Skies may feature occasional low clouds, while northwesterly winds are expected to blow at moderate speeds, sometimes becoming more active. According to Jordan News Agency, this stable weather pattern is expected to continue through the weekend. Most regions will remain under average summer conditions, while the desert regions, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will continue to face hotter weather. Breezy northwesterly winds will persist, occasionally picking up in strength. Today’s temperatures across various regions are expected as follows: East Amman is forecasted to have a high of 31°C and a low of 21°C, while West Amman will see temperatures around 29°C for the high and 19°C for the low. The Northern Highlands are expected to reach 27°C during the day and drop to 16°C at night. Sharah Highlands will have a high of 28°C and a low of 17°C. In the Desert Areas, temperatures are anticipated to rise to 36°C during the day, with nighttime lows around 20°C. The Plains will have temperatures ranging from a high of 32°C to a low of 20°C. The Northern Jordan Valley is expected to experience a high of 38°C and a low of 24°C, while the Southern Jordan Valley will be hotter, with temperatures reaching 41°C and dropping to 27°C at night. The Dead Sea region will experience a high of 40°C and a low of 26°C, while Aqaba will also see similar temperatures with a high of 40°C and a low of 26°C.
