The weather on Sunday is forecast to be fair and humid in the mountainous areas, moderate in the Badia and the plains, and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
With temperatures 2-4 Celsius degrees below annual average, a slight chance for morning showers is expected in the northern parts of the Kingdom, with northwesterly moderate winds. At night, cooler weather will prevail with clouds at low altitudes.
On Monday and Tuesday, mercury levels will slightly rise, but pleasant weather conditions will persist almost countrywide, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds.
Today, temperatures in Amman will hover around 28 Celsius degrees, dropping to 18C at night, while the city of Aqaba will see a blistering 35C, dipping into 24C during night hours.
