The Ministry of Water and Irrigation has announced that it will Thursday forward a Request for Proposal (RFP) to five prequalified consortiums for the construction of an Aqaba-Amman water carrier project.
In a statement Tuesday, the ministry said the prospective project is expected to provide the capital and other regions of the Kingdom with about 300 million cubic meters of desalinated seawater annually and will be ready by 2027.
