Amman: The Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply has announced a tender for the procurement of between 100,000 and 120,000 tons of barley. The tender calls for interested suppliers to participate in the bidding process, with the tender documents available for collection at the Ministry’s Tender Department for a non-refundable fee of JD 650.
According to Jordan News Agency, all bids must be submitted by 2:00 PM next Wednesday. Suppliers wishing to qualify for the tender must ensure they have a valid professional license, an updated commercial registration certified within the last 30 days, and proof of active membership with the Chamber of Commerce. These requirements are in place to ensure that only qualified bidders participate in the tender process, maintaining a competitive and fair procurement environment.
