Amman: The Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply has announced a tender for the procurement of either 100,000 or 120,000 tons of barley. This initiative seeks to cater to the country’s needs by ensuring a steady supply of this essential commodity.
According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry has urged interested parties to acquire the tender documents from the Tender Department. These documents, which detail the necessary specifications and requirements, are available for a non-refundable fee of JD 650. The ministry has set the submission deadline for bids at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 19.
Applicants must provide a valid professional license, a commercial registration certificate dated within the last 30 days, and proof of registration with the Chamber of Commerce to be eligible to participate in the tender process.
