Amman: The Ministry of Water and Irrigation/Water Authority of Jordan (WAJ) announced its inspection teams, in cooperation with relevant authorities, detected five violations on a 300mm diameter water pipeline.
According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry stated that three of these cases involved the illegal filling of 1-inch water tankers, while the other two supplied water to farms and homes. The crackdown, conducted on Wednesday morning, led to the removal of the illegal fixtures and the repair of the pipelines. The seized items were documented, and an investigation is now underway regarding the incidents.
The ministry emphasized its ongoing efforts to tighten control over Jordan's water resources across the nation.
