Amman: The Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply has announced an invitation for bids to purchase between 100,000 and 120,000 tons of barley. The procurement process is aimed at meeting the country’s demand for this essential commodity.
According to Jordan News Agency, interested parties can acquire the tender documents, which detail the conditions and specifications, from the Tenders Department. This documentation is available for a non-refundable fee of JD650. The ministry has set the deadline for bid submissions at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22.
The ministry mandates that all bidders present a valid professional license and a certified copy of the commercial register, issued no more than 30 days prior to the bid opening date. Additionally, bidders must provide a valid registration certificate from the Chamber of Commerce to qualify.
