Amman: Ministers of Transport, Dr. Nidal Qatamin; Investment, Dr. Tariq Abu Ghazaleh; and Planning and International Cooperation, Zeina Toukan, discussed preparations for holding the Jordan-EU Investment Conference 2026, scheduled to convene in Amman next April.
According to Jordan News Agency, during the meeting held Thursday, the ministers reviewed the conference's themes and goals, as well as coordination mechanisms among Jordan's relevant government agencies. This effort aims to reflect the Kingdom's investment climate and enhance opportunities to attract European investments in sectors deemed vital.
The ministers also deliberated on the list of priority projects to be presented at the event, focusing on the transport, infrastructure, and logistics sectors. These projects are expected to support economic growth and stimulate partnerships with the private sector.
Additionally, the discussions included the entities invited to attend the conference. The event is anticipated to attract major global companies, investors, and representatives from European financial and development institutions, enhancing opportunities for establishing long-term strategic partnerships.
