Minister Gideon Sa’ar resigns from Israeli war cabinet

Amman: Due to his exclusion from the war council, Israeli Minister Gideon Sa’ar declared his resignation from the Israeli war cabinet.

In a press conference, Sa’ar stated that he “will not be able to bear responsibility as long as he does not have influence on decisions,” suggesting that the war cabinet has become the focal point of the conflict instead of the security cabinet.

He emphasized that key decisions are made in the war cabinet, but the extended cabinet is satisfied to discuss general topics.

Two weeks earlier, Sa’ar announced the termination of his political cooperation with the “Khol Lavan” party, led by Minister in the War Council Benny Gantz, as well as the collapse of the “State Camp Alliance,” which called for the War Council to accept it as an independent bloc.
