Macron Declares France’s Non-Participation in Strait of Hormuz Operations

Riyadh: Paris: French President Emmanuel Macron announced that France will not engage in operations to open the Strait of Hormuz. He emphasized the nation's commitment to establishing a coalition to ensure freedom of navigation once hostilities in the region have ceased.

According to Jordan News Agency, Macron made this statement during the commencement of a cabinet meeting focused on conflicts in the Middle East. He stated, "We are not a party to the conflict, and therefore France will never participate in operations to open the Strait of Hormuz under the current circumstances."
