Local Revenues at JOD1.444 Billion in January-February 2025

Amman: Public financial statements reveal that local revenues have risen by approximately JOD95.9 million during the first two months of 2025, totaling JOD1.444 billion, up from JOD1.348 billion for the same period last year.

According to Jordan News Agency, in the first two months of 2025, tax revenues amounted to around JOD1.09 billion. This includes general tax collections on goods and services, which totaled JOD731.8 million, along with income and profit taxes accounting for JOD298.2 million.

The sales tax contributed JOD17.2 million, while taxes on trade and international transactions reached JOD42.3 million. Non-tax revenues during the same period were valued at JOD354.7 million.
