Accra:The Ministry of Labor has located 28 domestic workers from various nationalities in recent days after receiving reports of their absconding.
According to Jordan News Agency, ministry spokesperson Mohammad Zyoud reported that labor inspection units discovered these workers during field operations. It was found that their work and residency permits had expired, with some workers having failed to regularize their legal status for up to a decade.
Zyoud emphasized the importance of not employing domestic workers informally, warning citizens and households that such practices violate the Labor Law.
