Labor Ministry Launches Project to Digitise Services and Procedures

Amman: The Ministry of Labor has initiated a digital transformation project in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship. This project aims to digitize the services and procedures offered by the ministry, thereby enhancing efficiency and user satisfaction.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Ministry's Secretary-General, Dr. Abdul Halim Doujan, along with Samira Zoubi, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, officially launched the project during a dedicated meeting. Dr. Doujan emphasized the significance of the project, highlighting its role in simplifying the labor ministry's services to save clients time and effort. He also urged for a swift execution of the project to meet the intended objectives within the designated timeline.

The project targets the development of the ministry's online systems and the complete automation of services through an electronic portal. This transition aims to boost the satisfaction of service recipients. Zoubi, on her part, emphasized the necessity to progress from planning to practical application and to draw lessons from previous experiences to ensure effective outcomes for users of the labor ministry's services.

During the meeting, Doujan and Zoubi received a briefing from the Director-General of the Implementing Company on the project's executive plan.
