The Minister of Labor Nayef Istitiah discussed Monday with the British Ambassador to Jordan Bridget Brind cooperation on labor issues.
During the meeting, Istitiah stressed that the ministry is committed to enhancing cooperation and networking with countries friendly to Jordan, including Britain, to serve the interests of both countries.
He underscored the importance of vocational and technical education for young people to obtain the necessary skills to enter the labor market, and raising parents’ awareness of its importance for the future of their children.
The envoy lauded the government’s efforts to mitigate the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic on the labor market, stressing her support for cooperation with the ministry within the framework of the strong relations that link the two countries.
