Kuwait Intercepts Cruise Missiles, Drones Amid Iranian Strike on Airport Fuel Tank

Kuwait city: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced that the armed forces detected three hostile cruise missiles and 15 drones inside the country's airspace during the past 24 hours, and they were dealt with according to the applicable procedures.

According to Jordan News Agency, the official spokesman for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Staff Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, stated that the Iranian aggression resulted in targeting a fuel tank belonging to Kuwait International Airport. Specialized teams addressed the situation, and shrapnel fell on a house in a residential area without causing any injuries.

He further explained that a squad from the inspection and explosive ordnance disposal group, affiliated with the land force engineering, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, managed a military object at the site and disposed of it as per approved procedures.
