Kuwait Intercepts 19 Drones and 8 Ballistic Missiles in 24 Hours


Kuwait city: Kuwait’s Defence Ministry announced on Saturday that it successfully intercepted 19 Iranian drones and eight Iranian ballistic missiles aimed at Kuwaiti territory within the past 24 hours.



According to Jordan News Agency, the Ministry revealed that air defense systems have managed to intercept a total of 709 drones, 327 ballistic missiles, and nine cruise missiles since the onset of the ongoing conflict. The continuous interception efforts underscore the ongoing tensions and security challenges faced by Kuwait in the region.



The Ministry’s statement highlights the critical role of Kuwait’s air defenses in maintaining national security and protecting its territory from external threats. The recent intercepts reflect the continuing efforts to safeguard the nation amidst escalating regional conflicts.
