Kuwait Bourse Closes Higher

Kuwait, Kuwait Bourse closed Monday trading as the All Share Index gained 1.29 points to reach 7,055.31 points, an increase of 0.02 percent. As many as 184.7 million shares valued at KD 41.4 million (roughly USD 126.2 million) were traded via 12,881 transactions. The Main Market Index went down by 0.89 points to reach 5,976.98 points, a decrease of 0.01 percent, through 97.3 million shares done via 5,731 transactions valued at KD 11.11 million (roughly USD 38.8 million). The Premier Market Index went up by 1.93 points to reach 7,681.95, an increase of 0.03 percent through 87.3 million shares done via 7,150 transactions valued at KD 30.3 million (roughly USD 92.4 million). Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index gained 5.84 points to reach 5,801.11 points, a increase of 0.10 percent, through stock volume of 69.9 million shares done in 3,693 deals at a value of KD 8.5 million (roughly USD 25.9 million).
