KSrelief Hands Over Three Schools to the Yemeni Ministry of Education After Having Been Rehabilitated in Lahj Governorate

Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) handed over to the Yemeni Ministry of Education three schools after having been reconstructed and rehabilitated in the Tuban district of Lahj Governorate.

In this regard, the Assistant Undersecretary for the Projects and Equipment Sector at the Ministry of Education, Fadl Abdullah Ali, appreciated KSrelief’s support for the education sector in his country through building, restoring and rehabilitating additional classrooms.

Citing an official report on the future projects of the KSrelief emergency response plan to ensure access to a safe and comprehensive educational environment in Yemen, Ali said 28 classrooms would be expanded, ten schools would be rehabilitated, including wastewater facilities, educational aids would be provided to the educational staff in 20 schools and psychological and educational support activities will be provided to 40 trainees with more than 16,000 male and female students benefiting from it in the governorates of Lahj, Abyan, Al-Dhalea and Taiz.

The handing over of the schools, which took place yesterday, comes within the humanitarian and relief projects provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, aimed at supporting the Yemeni education sector and improving its conditions in all governorates and regions without discrimination.
