Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration Tawfiq Krishan, on Friday, checked on rescue and evacuation operations at the collapsed building in Jabal Luweibdah.
Krishan was briefed by the Director of the Civil Defense Department (CDD) Brigadier General Hatem Jaber on efforts carried out by the CDD cadres at the site for the fourth day in a row.
Krishan praised the cadres’ efforts, which have contributed to saving a number of citizens’ lives.
The deputy prime minister expressed his condolences over the victims of the incident, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
