Moscow: The Kremlin said on Saturday that Russian President Vladimir Putin told U.S. envoy Steve Whitcoff that Moscow is ready to hold unconditional negotiations with Ukraine to resolve the ongoing conflict. “During talks yesterday with President Donald Trump’s envoy, Vladimir Putin reaffirmed Russia’s readiness to resume negotiations with Ukraine without any preconditions. The president has spoken about this on several occasions,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told a news conference.
According to Jordan News Agency, Putin and Whitcoff met at the Kremlin on Friday for a three-hour meeting, as reported by the Kremlin.
