Abu dhabi: His Majesty King Abdullah II on Sunday reiterated Jordan’s opposition to any Israeli actions aimed at annexing the West Bank and displacing Palestinians, along with any proposals concerning Gaza that would involve displacing its residents or severing it from the West Bank, as stated in a royal court announcement.
According to Jordan News Agency, during a meeting at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi with United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, which was also attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, discussions highlighted the enduring relationship between Jordan and the UAE. The leaders expressed their willingness to enhance cooperation across multiple sectors to serve mutual interests and support Arab causes.
The discussions reinforced their backing for Palestinian rights and their dedication to advocating for a just and comprehensive peace through international channels, emphasizing the two-state solution as the sole path to regional stability.
