Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II on Wednesday paid tribute to army veterans on their day which is observed on February 15th every year.
In a tweet, His Majesty wrote: “I salute my brothers and sisters, comrades-in-arms, retired military personnel and veterans on their day. Your imprints are solid and your experiences are always the center of attention to serve the nation and its people.”
On the orders of His Majesty in 2012, February 15th was designated as Veterans Day to honor the services and sacrifices of retired servicemen and veterans.
