His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Thursday, mourned the passing away of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom who died earlier in the day at the age of 96.
“Jordan mourns the passing of an iconic leader. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was a beacon of wisdom and principled leadership for seven decades. She was a partner for Jordan and a dear family friend. We stand with the people and leadership of the UK at this difficult time,” His Majesty said in a tweet on his official Twitter account.
