King Meets Cyprus President, Monaco Prince, and UN Chief in Nice to Discuss Palestinian Support

Nice: His Majesty King Abdullah II engaged in a series of strategic meetings in Nice, France, with Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides, Prince Albert II of Monaco, and United Nations Secretary General Ant³nio Guterres. The discussions were part of His Majesty’s ongoing initiatives to garner international backing for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and to ensure their resilience on their land.

According to Jordan News Agency, King Abdullah II reiterated that a two-state solution remains the sole pathway to achieving regional stability. During the meetings, the King underscored the significance of the upcoming United Nations conference scheduled to take place in New York from June 17 to 20, co-hosted by France and Saudi Arabia.

The discussions also addressed recent developments in the Middle East. His Majesty highlighted the necessity of reinstating the ceasefire in Gaza, facilitating the entry of relief aid to all areas within the Strip, and putting a stop to unilateral actions in the West Bank and Jerusalem. Attending the meetings were Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, along with Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh, as the engagements coincided with the third United Nations Ocean Conference.
