Amman: The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and the Euro Arab Insurance Group (EAG) have signed a cooperation agreement to provide “Care Insurance” coverage for cancer treatment services at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC).
According to Jordan News Agency, KHCF Director General Nisreen Qatamesh and EAG General Manager Lana Bader signed the agreement, which integrates cancer care coverage into EAG’s insurance portfolio, ensuring access to specialized oncology services delivered according to international standards.
In a statement issued Thursday, Qatamesh underlined the significance of collaborative efforts between healthcare institutions and the private sector in raising awareness about cancer insurance and elevating the quality of medical services available to individuals and corporate clients. She commended EAG’s commitment to enhancing healthcare offerings through this strategic partnership.
Bader said the agreement reflects EAG’s dedication to developing innovative and comprehensive insurance solutions that reinforce clients’ health protection and fulfill evolving healthcare needs to the highest global benchmarks.
She added that the initiative aligns with EAG’s vision to support national healthcare strategies by enabling clients to access advanced oncological care at KHCC, thereby contributing to strengthening Jordan’s health insurance sector and promoting the sustainable development of the healthcare ecosystem.
The “Care” program is a nonprofit insurance scheme that covers cancer treatment costs at KHCC for subscribers of all nationalities and age groups. It remains the sole insurance product in Jordan providing exclusive access to the center’s comprehensive oncology services, recognized among the leading cancer treatment facilities in the Arab region.
