His Majesty King Abdullah, in a phone call on Thursday, congratulated Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on his appointment as Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. According to a royal court statement, His Majesty expressed his best wishes to Sheikh Khaled and stressed the deep-rooted ties between Jordan and the United Arab Emirates, under the leadership of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
