King Abdullah II Visits Royal Jordanian Air Force Command

Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, visited the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) Command on Monday, according to a royal court statement.

According to Jordan News Agency, His Majesty was accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and was briefed by the RJAF commander on key operational developments, combat readiness, defence capabilities, as well as modernisation and development plans.

During the visit, the King toured the RJAF's Command and Control Centre. He received a briefing on the work of the Air Operations Department and the surveillance and tracking systems, which play a critical role in enhancing threat response efficiency and fortifying the protection of Jordan's airspace.

His Majesty also met with several RJAF pilots, commending their professionalism and competence in executing their duties to safeguard the Kingdom's airspace. He underscored the importance of maintaining the highest levels of readiness and executing tasks efficiently and effectively, particularly in light of current regional challenges.

Additionally, the King expressed pride in the efforts of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army personnel and their pivotal role in protecting citizens and maintaining Jordan's security and stability. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti accompanied His Majesty on this significant visit.
