King Abdullah II Reviews Economic Modernisation Vision’s Progress for Q3 2025

Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II on Monday engaged in a meeting with Prime Minister Jafar Hassan and several key officials to review the progress of the Economic Modernisation Vision’s executive programme during the third quarter of 2025. The meeting was also attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, where notable achievements of the vision’s projects were presented.

According to Jordan News Agency, King Abdullah II emphasized the necessity of adhering to the plans outlined in the executive programme’s first phase to secure accomplishments. He highlighted that the upcoming government executive programme for 2026-2029 should be designed with initiatives and projects that significantly enhance service levels and positively affect the lives of Jordanians.

Furthermore, the King underlined the need for integration and continuity between the first and second executive programmes of the Economic Modernisation Vision, underscoring the vision’s role as a continuous roadmap for successive governments. He also called for effective coordination with private sector institutions and encouraged the exploration of new partnerships and investments.

The meeting saw participation from Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh, Minister of State for Economic Affairs Mohannad Shehadeh, and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Toukan.
