Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II departed Jordan on Wednesday for a private visit, as confirmed by a statement from the royal court.
According to Jordan News Agency, during the King's absence, His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Regent. The swearing-in ceremony took place in the presence of Cabinet members.
