King Abdullah II Back Home After UAE Visit

Abu Dhabi: His Majesty King Abdullah II arrived back home on Tuesday, following a visit to the United Arab Emirates where he held discussions with UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

According to Jordan News Agency, the leaders met at Al Bateen Palace in Abu Dhabi, reaffirming the deep-rooted, fraternal ties between Jordan and the UAE and expressing a shared commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation for the benefit of both nations.

They underscored the importance of continued coordination on matters of mutual interest, aiming to bolster regional security and stability, and to advance Arab causes.

Discussions focused on regional developments, with a particular emphasis on the ongoing war on Gaza. They addressed efforts to halt the war, facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid, de-escalate tensions in the West Bank, and firmly reject any attempts to displace Palestinians.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed hosted an Iftar banquet in honor of King Abdullah II and his delegation.
