Riyadh: King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE) is participating in the World Energy Congress, which is taking place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, from April 22 to 25.
By taking part in the event, KACARE aims to show the Kingdom’s prominent global role in the energy sector, and the city’s commitment to exchanging expertise and fostering communication with energy specialists and enthusiasts.
KACARE head of Human Capacity Building and Strategy Eng. Aiman Mufti will participate on April 24 in a session titled “Cities in The Lead: Place-Based Action”. KACARE will also present the Atlas portal project, which entails conducting a feasibility study on renewable energy resources to support and advance future energy projects in Saudi Arabia.
As part of the activities of the Kingdom’s pavilion to the congress, KACARE will have two visual presentations that focus on the strategy and initiatives for human capability development, to ensure the readiness of human capital in Saudi Arabia’s energy sec
tor, and the renewable energy management center’s activities, highlighting its use of cutting-edge data analysis and forecasting tools, in collaboration with government agencies and the private sector in the Kingdom.
The Kingdom’s Ministry of Energy will host the 27th World Energy Congress in Riyadh from October 26 to 29, 2026.
