Khasawneh, UAE president talk trilateral cooperation initiative

Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh, UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Egypt Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly Saturday held a meeting in Abu Dhabi to discuss the Jordan-UAE-Egypt Trilateral Cooperation Initiative.

Khasawneh and Madbouly briefed Al Nahayan about the latest developments in the cooperation initiative for industrial integration and its importance for strengthening strategic partnerships that bolster industrial cooperation between the three countries.

Khasawneh conveyed the regards of His Majesty King Abdullah to Al Nahayan and expressed the King’s wishes for the Emirati president and the people of the UAE for prosperity and improvement. He reiterated King Abdullah’s keenness to further strengthen bilateral ties in different areas.

Al Nahayan emphasised the keenness of the UAE to strengthen its cooperation with Jordan and Egypt and expand the cooperation to benefit the peoples of the three countries.

Khasawneh noted the importance of the trilateral cooperation initiative for industrial integration, which is a true translation of the outcomes of the ongoing meetings between His Majesty King Abdullah with President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, as well as the advanced levels of coordination and complementary work with Egyptian and UAE officials.

He highlighted the strong strategic ties between Jordan and the UAE and ways to support and strengthen them to serve the interests of the two countries and peoples.

For his part, Sheikh Al Nahayan conveyed his greetings and good wishes to His Majesty King Abdullah, stressing the strong strategic ties between Jordan and the UAE.

Sheikh Al Nahayan stressed the need to streamline measures to implement the projects included in the industrial integration initiative between the three countries.
