The Oil Derivatives Pricing Committee Tuesday fixed the prices of kerosene for the month of February at JD0.620 per liter, based on royal directives.
It also decided during its monthly meeting to keep the current price of diesel at JD0.820 per liter and a cooking gas cylinder at JD7.00.
During its review of international crude prices and oil derivatives during the month of January, and comparing them with the month of December, the committee found that prices had risen in the previous month, said the committee.
Applying the price equation for both grades of gasoline (90-octane and 95-octane) according to international prices, it found both grades increased by JD0.045 per liter, and thus the selling price of 90-octane gasoline in February will be JD0.945 per liter, instead of JD0.900, and 95-octane JD1.185 per liter, instead of JD1.140.
