JUST, Oakland University Sign Two Student, Academic Exchange Agreements

Irbid: The Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) and Oakland University in the United States signed two agreements aimed at supporting academic and student exchange and providing educational opportunities that enhance students' academic and cultural experience.

According to Jordan News Agency, under the first agreement, the Semester Abroad Program was launched, allowing JUST students to study at Oakland University for one or two semesters. The agreement also allows eligible undergraduate credit hours to later be counted toward master's program requirements.

The second agreement is an academic articulation arrangement designed to regulate student mobility between the two universities and enable them to continue their studies under approved academic standards. This will strengthen program quality and offer flexible pathways aligned with students' ambitions and future needs.

JUST President Khalid El-Salem remarked that the agreements align with the university's strategy to expand international academic cooperation, enhance graduate competitiveness, and provide distinguished learning opportunities. This reflects JUST's approach of engaging with global educational institutions and exchanging academic expertise.

He further stated that the university will continue to pursue high-quality agreements with reputable international institutions to develop academic programs, strengthen student skills, and reinforce the university's international standing.
