Amman: University of Jordan President Nathir Obeidat and U.S. Ambassador to Jordan Jim Holtsnider convened on Monday to explore ways to enhance collaboration between the university and the U.S. Embassy. The meeting, held at the university, focused on the role of the American Corner in promoting U.S. excellence in various fields, including entrepreneurship, innovation, technology, and American history and culture.
According to Jordan News Agency, Ambassador Holtsnider was briefed on the programs offered by the American Corner, which aim to broaden students' horizons and provide them with opportunities to participate in diverse cultural and academic activities. These programs are designed to enrich students' academic and professional careers by enhancing their exposure to different cultures and experiences.

Mujahed Thneibat, Director of the University Library Unit, remarked that the American Corner is a vital component of the library's facilities, serving as a hub for cultural exchange and extracurricular engagement.
