Amman: The Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) has granted JD100,000 to the Jordan Football Association (JFA), affirming its ongoing “commitment” to support national sports and honor the national football team’s “significant” achievement in qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Jordan Phosphate Mines Company made this gesture as part of its national responsibility and belief in the importance of sports in empowering youth and enhancing Jordan’s presence on the international sports scene.
According to Jordan News Agency, JPMC Chairman, Dr. Mohammad Thneibat, emphasized that this grant is a reflection of the company’s dedication to national causes. He praised the national football team’s qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup as a milestone for Jordanians and commended the JFA’s role in developing local football and supporting the team’s journey toward international recognition.
Thneibat highlighted the role of national companies in supporting the national team, stating that such initiatives demonstrate the spirit of partnership and social responsibility. He noted that these contributions are essential for fostering further sporting achievements in Jordan.
