Amman: Jordan Post Company (JPC) and Jordan Microfinance Company (Tamweelcom) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in electronic and postal financial services.
According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement was formalized by JPC Director General, Hanadi Tayeb, and Tamweelcom CEO, Bassem Khanfar. Under the terms of the memorandum, Tamweelcom will offer e-payment services and distribute loans at post offices throughout the Kingdom.
The JPC statement indicated that the collaboration aims to address customer needs by utilizing the infrastructure and electronic and postal financial services available at Jordan’s post offices. This initiative is expected to allow Tamweelcom to deliver its full range of financial services to citizens, ensuring efficiency and accessibility in line with standards of accuracy, speed, and quality to promote financial inclusion.
