Jordanian Senate Delegation Engages in Asian Parliamentary Assembly Meeting in Bahrain

Manama: A delegation from the Jordanian Senate, led by Ahmad Tbeishat and including members Haya Qaraleh and Sultan Al-Jazi, participated in the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA)'s general meeting. The event, hosted by Bahrain, focused on the theme: "The Role of Asian Parliaments in Promoting Dialogue among Cultures and Civilisations in Asia: Opportunities, Challenges and Future Pathways."

According to Jordan News Agency, during a meeting with Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the Bahraini Council of Representatives, the Jordanian delegation expressed appreciation and gratitude to Bahrain for hosting the high-level parliamentary event. The delegates emphasized the significance of convening the meeting in Manama under the APA's auspices.

The senators highlighted the opportunity to enhance parliamentary work and expand dialogue among cultures and civilizations in Asia. They called for cooperation, intensified efforts, and unified action to create future parliamentary pathways for constructive dialogue. The delegates stressed the importance of identifying best practices to transform the diversity of cultural identities and civilizations in Asia into a source of strength.

The aim is to enhance the role of Asian parliaments as active partners in peacemaking and building a better future for future generations.
