Minister of Transport, Wajeeh Azaiza, and his Saudi counterpart, Jassem Al-Saleh, are scheduled to discuss Thursday, in Riyadh, the operational lifetspan of Jordanian trucks and buses operating on international highways.
During a phone call on Wednesday with Al-Saleh, the two ministers agreed to discuss a mechanism to relieve trucks and buses operating on highways transiting Saudi territories from the operational age requirement contained in the updated regulations of the Saudi Public Transport Authority (PTA).
Joint talks will also go over relieving Jordanian travel vehicles from the lifespan condition, according to a ministry statement.
