Gaza:The Jordanian mobile bakeries in Gaza have produced over 69 million loaves of bread between January 2025 and October 14, 2026. This initiative was undertaken to ensure a continuous supply of bread and meet the daily needs of residents across Gaza.
According to Jordan News Agency, the operations are overseen by the World Central Kitchen (WCK), an international non-governmental organization that provides meals and food assistance to populations affected by conflicts and disasters worldwide.
The initiative began with the dispatch of three Jordanian mobile bakeries to Gaza under Royal directives. The first bakery started in January 2025, followed by two additional bakeries in December 2025. Each mobile bakery has a production capacity of around 70,000 loaves of bread daily, contributing significantly to the local food supply.
