Jordanian, Libyan officials discuss judicial cooperation

Amman: President of the Jordanian Judicial Council (JJC) Mohammad Ghazo on Wednesday received a Libyan delegation visiting the Kingdom to explore cooperation in the judicial domain.

The two sides discussed ways to improve judicial cooperation as well as the necessity of exchanging knowledge about working procedures to achieve justice and strengthen the rule of law.

Ghazo reaffirmed the depth of ties between Jordan and Libya and the need to advance cooperation in the judicial field.

For its part, the delegation praised the Jordanian judicial experience, stressing its commitment to benefitting from this visit.

The delegation’s agenda includes visits to the Court of Cassation’s technical office, the Judicial Institute of Jordan, and several Amman courts.
