Jordanian Association of Psychiatrists Elects Al Froukh as President

Amman: The general assembly of the Jordanian Association of Psychiatrists elected Alaa Al-Froukh as its new president during a meeting on Wednesday.

According to Jordan News Agency, the newly elected administrative board members include Mohammad Abu Sleih, Wael Al-Momani, Rita Asad, Khaled Bani Hani, Rafat Abu Rumman, and Mohammad Al-Taani. The meeting was attended by Jordan Medical Association council members Mudhaffar Al-Jalamdeh, Tariq Al-Khatib, and Mohammad Hassan Al-Tarawneh, who approved both the administrative and financial reports presented.

The new president and board members expressed their appreciation to the general assembly and the medical association council for their confidence. They affirmed their commitment to advancing the psychiatric sector in Jordan, improving medical services, addressing doctors' concerns, and promoting scientific research and continuous training within the specialty.
