Jordanian aid plane arrives in quake-ravaged Turkiye

Amman: A Jordanian aid plane laden with 12 tons of medical and food supplies landed in Kahramanmaras, Turkiye, on Monday under royal directives to assist survivors of a devastating earthquake that struck Turkiye and Syrian and left thousands killed or injured.

The aircraft was dispatched by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), which is the only entity in Jordan responsible for raising funds and delivering aid to earthquake victims.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates’ Spokesman Sinan Majali said in a statement that the Kingdom continuously provides aid to Syria and Turkiye to deal with the earthquake’s aftermath.
