Jordan takes part in workshop on technology and election

Jordan took part, on Thursday, in a virtual workshop entitled “Technology and Elections”, organized by the Secretariat General of the Arab League.

The two-day workshop saw the participation of 18 Arab electoral bodies including Bahrain, UAE, Tunisia, Algeria, Comoros, Djibouti, Sudan, Oman, Palestine, Somalia, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Libya, Egypt, Morocco, and Yemen.

The workshop focused on 4 main subjects, namely using technology in voter registration, modern technologies used in polling day, utilizing technology in voter’s awareness, and the impact of social media on various stages of the electoral process.
