Jordan receives multiple Arab Center for Tourism Media awards

Jordan received multiple Arab Center for Tourism Media awards that were announced on Tuesday, on the sidelines of the Arabian Travel Market exhibition, currently held in Dubai, in the presence of representatives from Arab media outlets.

Tourism Minister, Nayef Al-Fayez, received the Arab Tourism Media Award in recognition of his distinguished efforts in serving the Jordanian and Arab tourism sector, and his constant contact with local and Arab tourism media, a Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) statement said.

The JTB won the Best Tourism Work Award for the Best Tourism Promotional Campaign category, which was received by the JTB managing director, Abdel Razzaq Arabiyat, while the Tourism Ministry Advisor, Hisham Al-Abbadi won the best performing employee in the Arab government tourism sector award.

Minister Al-Fayez said that the Arab Center for Tourism Media has seen a qualitative leap through its events, noting that its awards are among the important awards that Arab media professionals who are interested in the tourism sector compete for.

“This competition contributes to achieving important goals, including strengthening the tourism sector and promoting it in the media through media staff that promote and support the tourism issue,” he added.
