Jordan Radio Forum kicks off in Aqaba

The Jordan Radio Forum, organized by the Aqaba Media Forum, kicked off Thursday in Aqaba with the participation of a number of companies and institutions operating in the southern city of Aqaba.

At the forum opening ceremony, Chief Commissioner of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), Nayef Al-Fayez, stressed the importance of such events in promoting tourism and investment in Aqaba as an economic and tourist zone.

He commended media outlets role in conveying the civilized image of Aqaba and showcasing its tourism, commercial and economic advantages that compete at the regional and global levels.

Aqaba Governor Khaled Al-Hajjaj said that the ASEZA’s project is a royal vision that began 20 years ago and was able to leave clear marks on the development of the area by establishing major investment and economic projects that contributed to the national economy and improving the standard of living for the people of the Aqaba.
