Minister of Transport Wajih Azayzeh on Sunday discussed with Qatari ambassador in Amman Sheikh Saud bin Nasser Al Thani bilateral relations and ways to enhance joint cooperation in transport field.
During the meeting, Azayzeh stressed the deep-rooted and strong Jordanian-Qatari ties, which are witnessing continuous development due to the two countries’ leaders support in various economic and political domains.
The minister called for increasing consultation, coordination and opening wider scopes of cooperation between both countries in addition to exchanging mutual visits and training programs, mainly in transport area.
For his part, the Qatari ambassador affirmed his country’s keenness to further strengthen relations with Jordan, indicting the importance of the Jordanian-Qatari partnership and the need to boost it to serve the interests of the two countries’ peoples.
