Riyadh: Jordanian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Dr. Haitham Abu Foul, accompanied by Chairman of Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, Fathi Jaghbir, toured the Jordanian pavilion at the Saudi Food Expo 2025 in Riyadh.
According to Jordan News Agency, the ambassador praised the development of Jordanian industry, which has led to its popularity in various international markets, including Saudi Arabia. Abu Foul affirmed the embassy’s readiness to assist in organizing the participation of Jordanian industrialists in events held in Saudi Arabia and arrange visits by Jordanian economic delegations.
Abu Foul also commended the role of the Jordan Chamber of Industry and the Jordan Exporters Association (JEA) in promoting national industry and implementing marketing activities. He noted that participation in the exhibition facilitates opening new marketing channels in foreign markets, relying on the competitiveness and quality of the Jordanian food industry.
Meanwhile, Jaghbir stated that the Jordanian pavilion, organized by the JEA, features 33 Jordanian companies specializing in food manufacturing. He added that Saudi Arabia is a major market for Jordanian exports. Jaghbir noted that participating in specialized international exhibitions helps promote Jordanian products and open new markets, allowing industrial company representatives to learn about the latest developments in food manufacturing, mainly the use of modern technology.
The Jordanian pavilion is witnessing a significant turnout from exhibition visitors, who expressed admiration for the level and quality of Jordanian food products. As per official data, Jaghbir indicated that the food industry sector constitutes 15% of the total number of Jordan’s industrial entities, with 2,645 businesses providing 50,000 job opportunities, a registered capital of JD641 million, and fixed assets of nearly JD2 billion.
