Cairo: Chief Justice Abdul Hafiz Rabtah took part in the activities of the First Arab Judicial Conference, held at the headquarters of the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO) in Cairo. The conference, themed “Challenges of Judicial Work and Capacity Building in Light of Artificial Intelligence,” gathered senior Arab judicial officials and legal and technical experts to explore the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in enhancing judicial efficiency.
According to Jordan News Agency, the conference aimed to highlight the opportunities provided by AI in developing judicial bodies. Participants discussed addressing possible ethical and legal challenges arising from this technological transformation and explored mechanisms to build human capacity to engage with these new applications.
The event covered multiple key issues related to AI applications in judicial work and reviewed both Arab and international experiences in the field. The sessions focused on how AI can support judicial processes and improve overall efficiency within judicial systems.
In a statement from the Chief Islamic Justice Department, Rabtah’s participation was described as part of the department’s commitment to keeping pace with rapid technological shifts in judicial development. The statement emphasized the importance of reviewing relevant Arab and global experiences to support the digital transformation process in Jordan’s judicial operations.
This effort aims to improve services, enhance judicial rulings, achieve full justice, and reduce the litigation period in Jordan’s Sharia courts.
